16 pounds Command strips

Four pairs of wall hanger strips hold up to 16 pounds with a maximum frame size of 24in(52cm) x 36in (76cm)  Framed  5.25lbs(2.4kg) unframed 1.5LBS(1.2kg).

The average family home has paintings in the 16(40cm) X 20(50cm) range and weighs about 2.25 lbs( 1kg) unframed to 5 lbs(2 kg) Framed.

Don’t replace reuse

Command stips are velcro, meaning they have a hook side and a loop side.  If you wish to change wall hanging more often you can buy loop side-only velcro adhesive tape. As long as you only use the hook side on the walls and the loop side on the paintings you can reuse these repeatedly.

Rule of 57  High of pictures

Hang the picture so that the center of the picture is 57 inches from the floor. Doesn't matter how tall or wide, measures 57 inches from the floor. Mark that with a pencil on the wall, then hang your art so that the center is at that spot

How it works,   measure the picture top to bottom divide by 2 and add 57 (125.5cm) this is the top of the picture.

Mounting 

With the availability of the command strip, it is very easy to change the pictures and if you place the strips in the same place you will not even need to replace them.  Pro tip Once you place the first strips take the picture down and allow the glue on the strip to set for 1 hour
